Driscoll Motors and its predecessor, Macleay & Co Motor Engineers, have been looking after Wellingtonianvehicles for over 80 years.
Shortly after the end of World War II, Albert Driscoll joined the firm. Eventually taking over ownership, the business name was changed to Driscoll Motors. In 1950, Albert’s son John joined the family business and started an apprenticeship.
The third generation of Driscoll joined the firm in 1977, when Leslie started his apprenticeship. In 2011, the fourth generation of Driscoll decided to continue the family tradition, with Daniell starting his apprenticeship.
